Fashion Inspired Nails: Nicholas Kirkwood

Hello! The fashion inspiration keeps rolling in! This time inspiration came from Nicholas Kirkwood's new Keith Haring Collection which features a super awesome knee-high roller-skate boot. If I had an endless supply of money a lot of it would go to his shoes because they are beautiful....oh well a girl can dream.

Fashion Inspired Nails: Prabal Gurung

Today I have for you guys another fashion inspired mani, this time however it's from Prabal Gurung debut Resort '12 collection. To introduce his very first Resort collection he teamed up with Rye Rye to create a fashion music video showcasing the collection. I'm not as much of a fan of this collection as was the House of Holland one as its more girly but I do like the color palette he used. Like the other post first i'll be showing you my nails then the fashion!

Fashion Inspired Nails: House of Holland

Todays nail post was inspired by the House of Holland Fashion Video of the Pre SS '12 Collection. I first saw the video on Highsnobette then checked out the collection on House of Hollands Facebook page (check it out to see more of the collection).  I absolutely love this collection and must find a way to get the first three outfits I posted  in my life. Ok so first up I'll show you my nails and then the pics from the collection and video which features the awesome song "Buffalo Stance" by Neneh Cherry.

A Few of My Favorite Things

Hello everyone! I'm in such a good mood today so I thought I'd do another post on some of my favorite things!

- Chuck Palahniuk is one of my fav authors, Invisible Monsters is probably my favorite of his books so far. If you haven't read any of his books you should!

- My favorite red lipstick is Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella. Its the perfect red and since its matte it last forever and isn't drying.

- Boys with tattoos!!!! The more the merrier but not those douchey tattoos like tribal arm bands (no offensive if you have one of those but thats not my style). lol

- One of my favorite pairs of shoes are my Ferragamo boots, becuase they go with so much they're really versatile and they were a steal because I got them on ebay!

- Calvin Klien underwear, I know this is kind of random but their bras and panties are great! I know some people are all about Victoria Secret but not me, their bras run small and the panties don't have a good fit. So if your looking for some new undergarments you should definitely check out Calvin Klien.

It's getting hot in here

I'm so over this heat and humidity. I'm ready for fall/winter weather although it never gets that cold in south Texas. :( Another reason I want it to be fall already is so that I can start wearing some of this years fall trends like socks. Refinery29 has a really good post on this trend which you should check out. I also want to start wearing rich dark lipsticks.

Anyway today my sis-in-law and I are going to workout which I really need to starting doing on a regular basis so hopefully we keep it up. She just had a baby about a month ago so she's motivated to lose her baby weight and I just need to not be fat anymore lol.
