Swirl Mani

Hey!! Today I have a swirl watercolor looking mani. I wanted to do a water marble mani with these colors but didn't want to go through all the hassle of actually water marbling so I ended up just swirling the colors together on my nail. For this I started out with a base of Agent Lavender and then added several drops of each polish and swirled them all together with a toothpick. If you swirl the colors together to much just add more of whichever color you want to be more prominent within the design.

Lavender Flames

Today I have another old mani I did sometime ago...the colors I used were inspired by the leopard mani I did on my friend Vanessa and the design by one of my guy friends. I wasn't to crazy about the way it came out but oh well.

Zig-Zags & Dots

Another old design....On my left hand I did a zig zag pattern and on my right hand I did dots. I was going to do both hands with zig zags but I was running out of time and hand to get going so I just decided to do dots on my other hand since that would be quicker.

Skull and Bones

Hello! Today I have some nail art using Fuchsia Rage as the base. I had been looking back at some of my nail art and wanted to recreate a design I had done with bones and eyeballs for Halloween. This time around I just kept the bones and did a dia de los muertos skull as an accent nail. Love the way this came out and I hope you all like it too!!

Fuchsia Rage

Today I have a swatch of a neon pink polish from Nina Ultra Pro. I'm pretty sure I have a very similar neon pink from KleanColor but I just couldn't resist getting it when I saw it at Sally's. These pics best capture the neon/brightness of the color but its not that intense in all lighting, I also got a pic of my nails under a black light which looks super cool! Enjoy tomorrow I'll have some nail art using this polish as the base!

Chevron Nails

Today I have for you all a chevron/arrow print nail design. Originally I was going to do this using tape so that the lines would be really crisp but by the time I got started it was late and I was lazy so I used some nail art polishes to free hand the arrows so they aren't to clean looking or straight. Despite the none evenness of the lines I still really like the look of this design and I like how the colors I used compliment each other. Hope you like it as well!

Purple Awesome-ness!!

Hello! Today I have for you all layered purple awesome-ness!!!! I had to adjust the color saturation to get the color of the polish right so thats why my skin color looks off, I hate that sometimes purple polishes come out looking blue when you photograph them...oh well. Anyway for this layering combo I started of with OPI INK. then a layer of Purple-xing then finally two coats of Motley. It is so much more awesome than the pictures look because the glitter form Purple-xing sparkles and you get the color shift form the flakes in Motley.

Mermaid

Hello Everyone! Today I have for you guys a super pretty polish form Ultra Pro. The name Mermaid suites this polish perfectly it's a pale minty green color with green shimmer and in some lights and angles an auburn shimmer. It's kind of hard to see the simmer in the photos but in person it's definitely there. The only down side to this polish is that its super sheer so it required a lot of coats.

Blu Blaze (Not a Neon)

Hey everybody! I purchased this polish because I decided I needed more blue cream polishes and when I saw this polish on sale at Sallys I thought a blue neon cream would be great for my collection. Sadly it is not the pretty neon blue that you see in the bottle, its a lot darker and it doesn't have a cream finish to it, it dries dull and flat so it definitely needs a top coat. Now don't get me wrong the color is actually really pretty, it was just a bit of a let down when I was expecting something else. The color is also a bit darker in real life my camera just couldn't quiet get it right, it's more along the lines of the 2nd photo.
