XXXO

The last couple of days I've been listening to XXXO by MIA, so I decided to do a mani inspired by the song/video. The video has a lot of those ghetto glitter graphics and there's also a lot of gold in the video so thats what I went with. My original idea was to use rose and heart decals but it didn't end up working out but I still included a pic of it.

Gina's Mani

This is a mani I did on my bff Gina a couple weeks back while she was visiting for the holidays.

Christmas Mani: Water Marble

So I finally did a decent job at water marbling my nails after trying a few times within the last couple of weeks. This is definitely something I need to practice some more but it was fun and very very messy as you can see from the pic below.

Burgundy Swirl + Gems

I really liked the way the swirl effect came out so I decided to do another one after my Purple Swirl Mani. The Steps were the same as in the Purple Swirl Mani except this time I had to work a little faster because I was using a Matte nail polish and they tend to dry very quick. The Swirl effect is also a bit less noticeable with these colors but it still looks nice. You might want to click on the pics to enlarge and get a better look.

A couple weekends back I wanted to try my hand at a water marbling mani for a wedding I was going to. Well needless to say it was a lot trickier and messier than I thought it was going to be. I gave up because I still had to get ready for the wedding so I ended up just swirling the nail polish on my nails instead.

Christmas Mani: Candy Cane French Tip

Here's another x-mas mani but this time on my mom. She had originally done it on her own but her tips were all messed up and not straight at all so I fixed them for her using a different red than she originally had on.

There's a few streaks on the index and pinky finger from the
red tips not being completely dry when applying the top coat.

What I used:
- OPI Alpine Snow
- LA Colors Art Deco in Red Glitter (NA 905)
- OPI Top Coat

Christmas Mani: Winter Wonderland

This is my 2nd X-mas mani and the one I'm currently sporting! Its a very blinged out mani with a snowman and snowflakes!

So I decided to do some holiday themed mani's for x-mas. This first one is pretty simple and just uses traditional x-mas colors: red, green, and gold. It kinda has a Mexican flare to me, but that could just be because of the red and green.

Teal The Cows Come Home

This color is a really pretty turquoise with silver flecks in it also I had the fan on when I was painting my nails so I got air bubbles and thats why my nails don't look smooth. :(

Stripes

This is a Mani I did on my cousin a few weeks back.

What I used:
- OPI Done Out In Deco
- So Easy Stripe Rite in Black]
- Seche Vite Top Coat

First Attempt - Leopard Print Nails

This was actually a pretty easy print to do especially since it doesn't have to be super perfect.

Plum Polish

This color is super old its from Avon's Color Trend line. The name of the polish is Plum, which it is with a more wine tone to it and small flecks of glitter in it which gives it a metallic-ish look to it.

Blame Game....

Just a quick post to say how much I LOVE Kanye's music and that every album he's dropped is great! My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is the shit I especially like the Blame Game great song!

Sorry for the lack of post this past week but I have some pretty cool stuff coming up!
