Leopard Print

Todays post is a leopard print mani, I feel like you can never really go wrong with this because it's a fun design yet super easy to do and the color combos are endless. So nothing new or fancy but I liked the color combo of these two polishes, very bright and summery. In other related nail news the "Good Enough to Eat" Nail Contest closed and all the winners were announced. I wasn't one of the lucky winners but I was in the top 20 for the people's choice and I gained some new followers, so all in all it was a fun contest to have participated in!

Top 10 Award!

Hey everybody, I got my very first award via Kate from The Kiwi With The Crazy Nails. Thanks Kate!

Here's the rules:
1. Thank the person who tagged you and link to their blog.
2. Put the Top 10 Award logo on your blog.
3. List your top 10 cosmetics.
4. Choose 10 bloggers to tag, link to their blogs, and let them know.

Ahhh I have a lot of beauty products so it's going to be tricky narrowing it down to 10.

1. DiorShow Waterproof Mascara in Black - I love this mascara! I've been buying it for years now because I like the big full brush and the formula.

2. Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella - I've mentioned my love for this in my favorite things post before and like I've said before its the perfect red that last a long time.

3. Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Make Up - I like this because it's a "gel texture" foundation so it isn't heavy but still has good coverage.

4. Avon liquid Eye Liner in Black - I don't like using pencil eyeliner so if I do use eye liner its this liquid one from Avon. It doesn't smudge and stays on all day/night.

5. DiorShow Brow Styler - I'm pretty sure there's a cheaper brow pencil out there but idk I just really like this one. It comes in "universal brown" which really does blend well with all brow shades and it also comes with a brow brush.

6. Dior Addict Lip Glow Balm - This lip balm is ridiculously expensive ($28) for what it is but yet I found my self buying it again when I ran out of it. It has a silky texture to it that gives you a subtle pink tint to your lips.

7. St. Ives Apricot Scrub - I like this because its gentle enough to use everyday, well at least with my skin type.

8. Onyx Cleansing & Make-Up Remover Wipes - A quick and easy way to remove make-up and oil from your face.

9. Tarte Natural Cheek Stain in Tickled - Great color thats easy to work with and last a long time.

10. Lancome Color Fever Gloss & La Laque Fever Gloss - This is probably my favorite brand of lip gloss. The formula on both of these is great it last a long time (as far as lip gloss goes) saturated color and the shape of the brush makes for easy application.

So there you have 'em some of my favorite beauty products!

Instead of tagging people individually since I know some of my followers might have already been tagged I'll leave it open to everyone!

Minted Silver

Hello everyone and hello to my new followers! Yay! Today I have a mani featuring Revlon Minted. I picked up this polish a couple weeks ago because I didn't have a mint green in my collection and my local grocery store had a coupon for Revlon polishes so I think I got for under $1. This was my first time buying a Revlon polish since I was in Jr. High I think, anyway the formula was ok but I didn't really like the brush but it was still workable.

Fashion Inspired Nails: Prabal Gurung

Today I have for you guys another fashion inspired mani, this time however it's from Prabal Gurung debut Resort '12 collection. To introduce his very first Resort collection he teamed up with Rye Rye to create a fashion music video showcasing the collection. I'm not as much of a fan of this collection as was the House of Holland one as its more girly but I do like the color palette he used. Like the other post first i'll be showing you my nails then the fashion!

Skulls

Hey Everybody! I did this mani back in March when my nails were shorter and I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this because although I did like this mani my pinky finger really ruined it for me! The way I drew it on my nail didnt end up coming out like the other skulls, I did the jaw part to long and it kind of reminds me of the punisher skull which was not the look I was going for but oh well the rest of the skulls do look cute.

Fashion Inspired Nails: House of Holland

Todays nail post was inspired by the House of Holland Fashion Video of the Pre SS '12 Collection. I first saw the video on Highsnobette then checked out the collection on House of Hollands Facebook page (check it out to see more of the collection).  I absolutely love this collection and must find a way to get the first three outfits I posted  in my life. Ok so first up I'll show you my nails and then the pics from the collection and video which features the awesome song "Buffalo Stance" by Neneh Cherry.
*VERY PIC HEAVY POST!

Rosy's Flower Mani

Hey everybody todays post features a mani I did on my sister-in-law a few days ago. She really liked these two colors so we decided to use one as an accent color and then add some flowers.

On a side note im also excited because I decided to submit an entry for a nail art contest being held by another nail blog Nail Polish Art Addiction, her nail art is crazy good, but anyway I hope I get lucky and win!

Mix-N-Match: Dots & Stripes

Today's post is another skittles mani, this time I went with a dots and stripe theme. I also used these 2 new Art Deco polishes I got, really loving the teal glitter polish.

Untitled

I've been doing a lot of nail post so to brake it up a bit today I thought I'd share another poem with you guys that I wrote back in '07 hope you like it.

you're cold to the touch
you're a skeleton
you must be dead

you have no heart
no blood pumping in and out
no spine
no brain
you must be dead

you have nothing
all you are is bones
led by her words
you must be dead

Mix-N-Match: Guy Meets Havana Dreams

I decided to do a mix-n-match or skittles type mani where each nail is different but tied together by a certain color palette or theme although I have seen some skittle nails where that is not the case or where just each nail is a different color like actual skittles. Anyway I think these two colors work great together and I really love the way this mani turned out. I'm definitely going to do a few more of these mix-n-match manis with different contrasting colors.
