Pizza Party Nails

These nails were inspired by the pizza nails done by Polish You Pretty. I chose to do pizzas only as accent nails and did bar glitter on the rest of my nails to represent the "party". Hope you all like them.

Another Leopard Print Mani

So here's another leopard print mani.... This design features a gold glitter accent nail and gold glitter accent spots. Hope you like it!

Swirl Mani

Hey!! Today I have a swirl watercolor looking mani. I wanted to do a water marble mani with these colors but didn't want to go through all the hassle of actually water marbling so I ended up just swirling the colors together on my nail. For this I started out with a base of Agent Lavender and then added several drops of each polish and swirled them all together with a toothpick. If you swirl the colors together to much just add more of whichever color you want to be more prominent within the design.

Decades of Dysfunction

Today I have a swatch of Orly's Decades of Dysfunction. I'm really becoming a fan of pale pinks and nude colors lately.

Glitter Safari

Finally getting around to posting! This is a mani I did some time ago with Man Hunt which I absolutely love its like the perfect blue. I started off sponging on Blasted Turquoise Glitter on the tips and then after a day or two I added a coat of Mermaid Tail because you never have enough glitter!

V-Gap Gradient

Finally getting around to posting manicures from like the past month and half. These are pretty old my nails have already grown and are back to a talon shape. This was the first time doing a v-gap mani and I decided to add a little twist to it and do a gradient with in the gap. Also sorry the pics aren't that great.

Skull and Bones

Hello! Today I have some nail art using Fuchsia Rage as the base. I had been looking back at some of my nail art and wanted to recreate a design I had done with bones and eyeballs for Halloween. This time around I just kept the bones and did a dia de los muertos skull as an accent nail. Love the way this came out and I hope you all like it too!!

Blue Collar

Hello everyone! Today I have for you all a swatch of a new polish I picked up this past weekend by Orly called Blue Collar. It's the most beautiful shade of blue ever the color just reminds me of a pool and summer. I also got a quite a few compliments on this color by people saying they liked the color even by some guys! Anyway I suggest you guys pick it up if you don't have a shade similar to it.

Green Apple

Today's post is just a swatch of Orly Green Apple. This is actually the color I wore on St. Patricks Day I just never got around to posting it.

Snowcone & Gradient

Hello! Today I have another old swatch and nail art of pics I never got around to posting. Its a beautiful  muted light blue from Orly called Snowcone which is a perfect shade of blue for spring and summer! Then I added some gradient sponging with a metallic dark blue.

Icicle Nails

Today I have more of a wintery mani for you guys. I thought Holo Blue would be a perfect base for an Icicle mani and then I chose a dark blue to go with it and added Diamond Love to give it a more icy look.

Texas Rangers Mani

Sunday my bff Nora came over to get her nails done. She wanted to do something for the Texas Rangers who are apparently in the World Series and doing pretty good. Me not being into sports I had to google them to find out what the team logo looked liked. I decided to do the T logo as accents and then Nora settled on a triangle french tip for the other nails.

Galaxy Nails

This weeks monday nail art challenge on Polish-aholics Anonymous was Galaxy themed. I was excited to try this out cuz I've seen some pics of other peoples nails and they look so pretty. So I googled some tutorials and then some images of galaxies and gave it shot. I'm not a 100% satisfied with it, mainly because I think my "stars" are to big and that there are to many (I did less dots on my left had).

Double Lightning Bolt

Hello everyone! Today's post features another attempt at a tape mani. This time I did the actual double lightning bolt and then just like Jane I also did a matte version. I think it came out pretty good, although I think I need some work on the placement of the tape but other than that I really like the way it came out.

Mk's Geometric 80s Nails

Hey everybody! Wednesday my friend Mk came over to get her nails did (lol) and catch up since she had been gone all summer. Anyway she wanted something geometric with bold colors, so we came up with this design, which is very 80s. I taped off the triangular areas using tape then with my stripers outlined them.

Snakeskin

The other day a friend sent me a link showing a new style of manicure using actual snakeskin which was pretty cool so it inspired me to do another snakeskin mani for myself but this time using summery colors.

Oh Cabana Boy!

I usually tend not to wear colors like Oh Cabana Boy because I'm not sure if they will look good with my skin tone but this color was just so pretty in the bottle that I decided to get in anyway. I had originally intended to just keep it simple and not add any design but then it was just too much pink so I added the lines to sort of break up the color a bit. Oh Cabana Boy is a neonish hot pink with a subtle purple shimmer to it.

Evil Eye & New Years!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a safe and fun filled night celebrating the new year! This is the mani I'm currently sporting for the new year, its the evil eye which is supposed to ward of any jealously or negative energy people may have for you. I thought this was a fitting mani to do as I wanted to start the new year with positivity and well wishes.

Todays NOTD is Sephora by OPI Ocean Love Potion with Orly Diamond Love over it.

NOTD Ruffian/Moon Manicure

Today I did a different version of the Ruffian/Moon Manicure. This version is way easier to do because all you have to do is follow the natural line of your nails lunula (the white moon shaped area at the bottom of your nails). I used a sheer sparkly color as my base so that I could still see the line and then colored over with my darker color.

I used Diamond Love (April) from Orly and Go My Own Way from Sephora by OPI's Rocker Chic collection. Go My Own Way is a rich teal with flecks of blue glitter.
