Fashion Inspired Nails: Christopher Kane

Hello Everyone! Today I have for you guys another fashion inspired mani. My inspiration for this mani came from one of the looks from the Christopher Kane Resort 2012 Collection. As before first the nails then the fashion.

What I used:
- OPI Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous (2 coats)
- OPI Alpine Snow (base for rainbow nails 1 thick coat)
- Zoya Mira
- KleanColor Neon Aqua
- LA Colors Art Deco in Bright Green
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow
- OPI Osaka-To-Me Orange
- WetnWild Red Red
- Sponge
- Seche Vite

Now for the Fashion! I love this collection the aqua leather jacket is to die for as is the pink lamé looking dress. I also really like how they used a rainbow print and made it look youthful and modern not kitchy or kiddish. All photos via Style.com so head over there to see the full collection.

  1. Fantastic post! I love seeing where people get their inspiration. And I never would have thought to put all of the colors on the sponge and then put it on my nails. Looks like it will be much faster and work better than doing each color separately.

  2. Glad you enjoyed this post! Layering all the polishes on at once definitely makes it easier and you can do multiple nails at a time.

  3. I would have never guessed to apply the polish to the sponge verses just sponging!  What a pretty mani.

  4. Thanks and yup it makes it a lot easier especially for this type of design where you dont necessarily need a gradient effect
